Recommended by friends as a place to meet while in town--excellent quality and variety of food. Good service--a large group was hosted for a buffet when we arrived, but once they left, the place quieted down and felt more intimate.

Food here was poor and service was terrible. Nearly every dish was far too heavy in cream even dishes which shouldn't have cream anywhere near them- such as a lamb bhuna. The waitress stacked dishes haphazardly, leaned over us and tried to move us to...More

One of the best Indian restaurants I have been to, the food was good, the staff were helpful and it was reasonably priced. Had a good range of foods too

Used to visit this place back in the early 80's when it was the Rawlpindi. Enjoyed the return and the Lamb.

Call in just before closing time. Staff was very nice and helpful. Order taken straight away with no fuss. Food was fresh and tasty. Only remark is in regards of white wine which has been served warm. Definitely will be back.

Went here with my partner for a relaxing dinner experience. The food was delicious but even though the restaurant was half full the service was extremely slow. Would not like to be here on a busy night.

Very attentive staff and great curries and beer. As a vegetarian Indian restaurants usually cater very well for me but no other comes close to being as good as Kama Sutra's paneer sizzler - massive portion and totally delicious. My carnivorous husband loves it too.

The haggis pakoras are just fabulous. Get the sharing platter of starters to get a selection. We visited with friends that had eaten there before and I would have to agree that there is nothing bad on the menu. We tried various dishes and found...More

Decided to have an evening meal out rather than in the hotel and spotted this place as we were walking along the road. It looks good from the outside and it's not bad inside either. When we went in the waitress didn't even notice us,...More

Description
Release your inner strumpet at the Kama Sutra, a salacious Indian on Glasgow's Sauchiehall Street. A truly tantalising feast for the senses, this intimate candlelit restaurant boasts a menu with titles including 'Saucy Suggestions' and 'Old Flames'. The exotic eastern cuisine includes favourites such as the popular karahi bhoona, and low-calorie curries such as the salmon and prawn masala. The Mixed Thali menu gives set menu options for two, or if you're feeling abnormally audacious, four. Popular for business lunches and parties, the Kama Sutra restaurant attracts both tourists and locals, and has a downstairs function room with DJs and a karaoke machine.
