We went for the teasting menu and I have to say it was from a different world. The scallops were to die for as well as the vanison. The wine selection is sweet, we sticked to Pinot Noir, one from Chile and one from Australia...More

Went today for the champagne lunch with my hubby. We both opted for different choices from the menu and were both dissapointed. There was no wow factor at all. I could have got a better quality meal and better portion in a chain restaurant. I...More

We had great hopes of this place - all of which we successfully dashed. 3 hours to serve one over cooked course is a true triumph of incompetence. If more staff were needed then hire then - don’t just stuff the grossly excessive profits into...More

Everything was just lovely. I was so happy to see nut roast on the menu but also a but apprehensive as in my experience few places can do it justice. This one was really delicious. Looking forward to another visit.

Wonderful setting, beautiful decor and lovely staff. I was there for lunch and it was delightful. A beautifully thought out menu which is as appealing to the eye as it is to the tastebuds! The diningroom was not even half full so it was quiet...More

Elegant yet informal, the Hotel du Vin restaurant serves premium French bistro-style cuisine made with the freshest ingredients. Subtle starters and bold mains sit alongside an outstanding wine list, as well as a choice of spirits and local beers. Leather and dark stained wood fill the interior, with an inviting bar area providing the perfect evening meeting point.
