Went here early evening on a cold and wet Sunday to take advantage of the good value Market Menu, I was the only person until near the end of my meal, but didn't mind this had a very enjoyable, relaxing meal (although the music was...More

Went here with my son as we both love fish. The cullen skink was OK but a bit thin. I had the fish platter. Two big chunks of fish which were over cooked. The scallops were nice but the curry sauce over everything was just...More

Met a friend here for dinner. It had been a long time since we'd seen each other. Place was empty, no atmosphere at all. We were told things were off the menu as they were clearing out stock in the kitchen. Tasteless food and over...More

Very poor food. Won’t be back. Should have gone to snack bar next door, expensive food and only clients in restaurant, which was no surprise after tasting.

We dined here with friends while we were visiting Scotland recently. The venue seemed hidden away and then an oasis once you walked inside the unassuming facade. We thought the food was delicious and would certainly dine here again, or recommend to others.

Despite hearing rave reviews of this apparent institution I was a bit underwhelmed. Undoubtedly they know how to cook fish well but pretty much it. As in they cook the fish and not much more. The seafood platter consisted of salmon, sea bream and coulis,...More
