Lovely vibe and service was OK. Food was poor. We had 2 incredibly dry and barely warm lamb shanks, 1 cod loin with potato that was burnt on top. Burger was poor, 2 steaks were good. Overpriced for the poor standard.

What a little hidden gem, food was great. My daughter is vegan and there was plenty options on the menu for her . Portions were very generous, prices good, staff very helpful and friendly .

Booked in advance which I think is recommended as the bar and restaurant were very busy when we arrived but we were greeted immediately and shown to our table. The restaurant has a lovely feel, all dark green with twinkly lights. The food was absolutely...stunning. I had moroccan lamb with apple couscous followed by battered fig with ricotta. Both delicious and beautifully presented. The staff were fantastic, constantly on the go but still taking the time to genuinely check everything was good. Staying in Aviemore and had been here a couple of times before over the years, popped in for a drink at lunchtime and staff were excellent, warm, friendly welcome, very comfortable environment, came back the following day and had lunch, food was excellent, nicely cooked...and very tasty, my wife had Cullen Skink, she said it was excellent. This is one of our favourite pubs, definitely in Aviemore if not Scotland, if in Aviemore it is definitely worth a visit.More

Didn't eat here this time, but loved having a drink in the bar. Fab atmosphere, fab crowd, great drinks. The hot apple cider was lovely (please get some Calvados in stock to drop in there -yum!) A warming place to be!

Visited many times over the years. Always friendly, always great atmosphere. Travelling this time with Boris our exuberant Labour. Very dog friendly. Boris highly recommends.

A decent little pub not far from the centre of Aviemore. The bar serves great Guinness and a big selection of other beers but has too many dogs inside, puts me off the place! What drives me crazy is that staff are petting the animals...and then touching plates of food that you eat from! There is an open kitchen wall where you can see in to the cooks but I think they forget that customers can see them, staff need to be aware of the antics they get up to as it doesn’t always leave a good impression! The restaurant is popular and needs a reservation normally. The place is dull and over populated with tables. Prices are top-end for a pub restaurant we expected something better. The food can be too salty, the terrine was nearly uneatable. The burger is big and tasty and the sirloin steak is ok but very expensive at £26,50. Remember we are in a pub. Overall we rated the place only 4/10 taking everything into account.More

Just as good as ever. Staff excellent obviously good and efficient nothing too much to ask. Food great our only regret was we hadn't booked a table for the other two nights we were in the area.

Out of all Aviemore has to offer the Old Bridge Inn excels every time. Fantastic food, great service. Awesome

We had booked a table on a Friday evening, but arrived early and were surprised how busy the bar was at 5.30. Fortunately, our table was available and we enjoyed a delicious meal! We started with Cullen skink and rabbit terrine, followed by a burger...and seafood risotto. Everything was cooked to perfection and served with a smile in this buzzing dog friendly pub. Definitely the best in the area!More

We visited after a day out.Our dog was with us,so we ate in the dog friendly lounge area (No dogs allowed in the restaurant style area).The atmosphere was warm and cosy and staff were welcoming and friendly. We ate top class beefburgers,but the menu contained...seafood and vegan options. The creme brulee option ,and ginger cheesecake with chocolate ice cream were delicious dessert choices. We visited here whilst we were on holiday,but will definitely go back next time we visit the area.More

Popped into the Old Bridge, after a day walking around Boat of Garten and then walking into Aviemore. We were greeted with a  genuine warm and friendly welcome from the staff. A charmingly basic/rustic  bar and lounge area, which we loved, good local beers on...tap and a good selection of wines too. A lovely looking restaurant area too, but we only wanted a couple of drinks. Definitely worth a visit More
