We were a group of three and had a table on the second floor with views of the river and the castle. The food was excellent, our entrees were the prawns, chicken, and steak.

We ate on 2nd floor with good view over river. Starters were delicious. I had their "special" steak which was average and cost £23. The others eating fish said their mains were very good.Staff were friendly and attentive.

We were a group of 4 and had an early evening meal here. There were several menus to chose from, Early Evening menu, Daily Specials and regular menu. Lots of really tempting options, I had the salmon to start that had been marinated in gin which was delicious. Followed by chicken stuffed with haggis in a whisky sauce with mashed... More

I met my cousins from Australia in Inverness and they booked the restaurant for us, and boy I'm glad they did. Restaurant was busy, service was excellent and while we ate the stunning view of Inverness Castle with the sun setting, will stay with me for ever. The food was all locally sourced and the freshness came through with the... More

a busy lively Brasserie on the river. There are 3 floors and we had a lovely window seat on the top floor. A sister restaurant to the Mustard Seed across the river and the food was very good and service friendly and efficient.

This is a lovely restaurant overlooking the river, and all the tables are close to the window so you can appreciate the view. On a sunny evening this was especially nice. The food here was very good. For my main I had a special, which was a butternut squash risotto. As a big risotto fan, I have sampled a lot... More

It was our first time here. Very busy place but the staff did well to cope. The food was very good quality, nicely presented and with great flavours. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. We will be back.

I really appreciated this restaurant, with a nice view on Inverness castle and on the Ness river. I tried the Huggies hamburgers and some deer with a whiskey sauce. I strongly recommend this restaurant for a good dinner with friends. Enjoy!
