Live Scottish music every night is a big attraction for this city centre pub although it also has a good reputation for food as well. It certainly does not look like the type of pub where you would get a decent meal, but you get...More

We went for an early evening meal, so we could enjoy the music later on, no way is this fine dining but what you get is a good meal in a bar room setting. I had the beef shin and it was tasty and my...More

Highly recommended by others to visit this place but we didn't stay long. Not enough seating, the special atmosphere was definitely taking a night off, and drink prices could be classed as ripoff. Finished our drinks and left.

Good food and atmosphere but the authentic Music was amazing. People dancing in all ages - a true visit worth!

Staff was friendly. Food was pretty good (try the Cullen Skink). This is a great place to people watch as it seemed to have a good mix of locals and tourists

Being a fan of Scottish music I was not disappointed, very talented musicians varying from accordion, banjo, fiddles real foot tapping evening. Enjoyed a meal here one night food was good, advise to get there early if you want a seat, it gets very busy.

You would need to have a few pints not to notice how tired / grubby the general decor is. We didn't eat but the food looked ok.
