Staying at the local Premier Inn, this pub is just down the road overlooking the river. Booking is essential as the place is so popular. I had the grilled local Scottish salmon served with crushed potatoes & chilli & lime dressing - wonderful. My husband...More

Food presentation was good, but we expected better flavours. Good vegetables wasted in too much creamy sauce (enchilada), and a good burger without sauce to finish it. Too bad, because a little modification would make both meals much better. Maybe better luck nezt time.

I had the salmon, which was lovely. My husband had the halibut which he felt was just okay, he found the fish portion small. We sat a long time before they came to take our order, we sat waiting again to get our check, then...More

Updated takes on traditional fare. The portions are generous. You have to be patient with the service. Can be slow. But the food was great!

Today the smoked mackerel and pickled herring were wonderful, however the prawns were baby shrimp, although cooked well considering the size. My entree...More

Four of us went to this restaurant, 3 of whom are vegetarian, and the reason we selected it was because they had vegetarian items on the menu (trust me, not that easy to find in Scotland!). However, it would appear that this establishment, like many...More

Good for a quick dinner with a good vibe. The food was okay, and the location is perfect. Portions were on the smallish side

Do you serve gluten free meals and ale? Three stays in Inverness and dined each time at the Waterfront. Great food and service. Recommended to my daughter who will be there in August but she can't eat anything with gluten.

Thank you for the lovely review. We do serve gluten free meals. We also have real ale but this would not be gluten free. We look forward to welcoming your daughter to the Waterfront.
Are you dog friendly?
