We were in Inverness for a few nights, and having read previous reviews, we couldn't wait to try it out. From Beginning to end, the whole fine dining experience was exceptional. The waiting staff were attentive, but not intrusive. We had the early evening dinner...More

Great food, perfectly cooked what else do you need to say? But as I have to- if you want to eat here you will have to book; it’s that good!

In all my years eating out and of them there are many of these I have never eve seen a sign on the front entrance saying sorry we are fully booked for the evening and this was on an October Tuesday night However after sampling...More

We found rocpool through TripAdvisor and were not disappointed. It is probably the best restaurant in town. Online reservations were very easy and you are informed upfront that you only have a table for two hours ... which is short but the service is very...More

So, we were in Inverness for the weekend, and sought out something different from the respectable but dull chain restaurants, and the local pubs where you are never quite sure whether the retro look is intentionally chic, or just well, old fashioned. We consulted the...More

Ate dinner here last night, just as well we had a reservation as it was more than busy. Absolutely delighted to find one of my most favourite dishes (langoustines) on the menu as today’s special, and also a very tasty brill on black risotto for...More

Went here for dinner on a Friday night and the food was just amazing. Definitely close to Michelin Star quality! The setting is beautiful and the atmosphere and ambience is really nice too. Can highly recommend the scallop starter and the monkfish stir-fry main. Make...More

Best place we ate in Inverness. Food quality superb. I had the venison which was delicious and everyone in our party loved it. Obviously not cheap - not far off London prices - but worth it. Gets booked up quickly as it is not a...More

We have eaten in Rocpool before and had good food, if a bit expensive. Went again with friends who booked an early table. We were looking forward to the meal. I arrived a little early. My husband dropped me off at the door as it...More

We are very disappointed and upset to read your comments regarding what happened when you arrived early for dinner last week....customer care is our main priority and always has been. Rocpool opens at 5.45pm for evening service, not 5.00pm when you arrived, on a day...More

Description
Since it opened in 2002, Rocpool Restaurant ha become an effervescent Inverness brasserie with a loyal fan base. A cool contemporary decor with lots of bare wood and bold colours give a buzzy vibe to the restaurant which is situated in a prime site on the banks of the River Ness. The kitchen has a repotoire of eclectic modern dishes which use Scotland's matchless produce sprinkled with Mediterranean sunshine, plus a pinch of exotic spice here and there.
