The food was delicious and the restaurant itself is very cozy. It is right on the water and while we only spent one cold night in Inverness, I can imagine it is lovely to look out onto the river during the day.

This spot was recommended by our B&B host, and now we know why! The restaurant is very nice and cozy, and offers views of River Ness. The service was great. We all enjoyed our dinners thoroughly. The venison and smoked haddock risotto were wonderful!

Wonderful atmosphere from the minute you enter the building. Booking a must! Log fires, perfect seating arrangements and staff are trained to a very high standard. Special board is impressive and is definitely recommended. Healthy wine selection, delightful deserts and try sharing the chessboard afterwards......More

Hello, yes, contact the restaurant and they will advise. If I mind correctly there were two GF starters and two GF mains, since I did not have dessert I cannot comment. The only downside is they do not have gluten-free bread.

Description
Open since 1995, the simple cooking and warm, friendly atmosphere has allowed The Mustard Seed to become one of Inverness’s favourite restaurants. The Location on the banks of the River Ness in a converted church building is simply stunning and helps create the wonderful ambience. The transformation from disused church to restaurant created a unique space; with a double-height ceiling and magnificent open log fire. Many of the original period features were retained and combined with a mix of natural and modern finishes. The addition of the terrace on the top floor allows alfresco dining and uninterrupted views of the River, another amazing asset for the restaurant.
