Visited this restaurant recently and was very pleasantly surprised. It is a long time since I last visited. The resaurant was clean and spacious. Staff very welcoming and friendly. A very good variety on the menu. Service quick and efficient. Prices were good. Definitely visiting again. Advisable to book at weekends

Stopped in for a spot of dinner on Tuesday 7th February as I was staying in the nearby Travelodge (who had, incidentally, recommended it to me). To be honest, it wasn't my first choice...I walked to the local retail park (about a ten minute walk from the pub) with the view to just go to Nandos or Pizza Hut. However,... More

We visited tonight with my sister in law and family, we had the 3 courses at £20.00 which we all thought was great value, one steak wasn't quite right so it was sent back no questions. We left feeling very happy with what we thought was a good meal and would definitely visit again.

Visited today to find the place quiet, drinks order was taken and delivered reasonably quickly and the it went downhill from there! We waited approximately 35 minutes until our main meal arrived at the table! Long time but even worse as we ordered a starter and had not had it! Decided to eat the meal and get our starter afterwards... More

Was working in Inverness and stayed at the Travelodge next door. Went to the Snow goose on 2 occasions, first night got cod and chips. Cod was goldfish sized and the batter was overlooked. Chips and mushy peas were fine. Second night got rump steak and chips, was quite tasty but the portion size is small for what you pay.... More

With two hotels within a stone's throw it's no surprise this place fills tables like crazy! I did feel slightly guilty taking the last table set for four as a solo diner but tables are on a first come basis. Pick a meal, order at the bar, cash or tab, pretty much what you would expect from a vintage inn.... More

We were staying the weekend at the travelodge beside this restaurant and decided to pop in as it was so close by even though their were many other choice in the area! Their wasn't much we liked the sound of from the starters so decided to just get a main course each, my wife got a pizza which she loved... More

I was part of a group of 6 who ate at the Snow Goose on 4th Feb 2017. 3 of the 6 of us sent our food back. I ordered sea bream with a seafood risotto. The fish was so overcooked it was rigid, and its flesh was so bound together by the cooking that it was possible to lift... More

Hi there, I am very sorry for the disappointment of your visit to the Snow Goose. We do aim to provide high quality meals to all our guests and we are more than happy to replace dishes upon request, I hope the discount applied to your bill went some way to compensating you for the poor experience Regards Mike More

Excellent! Superb food. Wide variety of dishes. Relaxed atmosphere. Friendly atmosphere. I like the decor - cosy pub feeling. Booking advised as it can be busy over the weekend.

We had lunch here on our way north- fine easy turn off as you enter the busier area and one way system of Inverness and ample free parking. Spacious, clean and pleasant dining area with plenty tables, but chairs were a bit quirky- all odd -non matching at any of the tables! Staff were attentive and pleasant. Menu had a... More
