Eating is an overall experience in our opinion - hence our only average rating for this restaurant! Well the food and drink was very good which was most important. Service was also good. Such a shame that it feels so cold and lacking atmosphere inside....More

We ate at this restraunt priir to visiting the pitlochary festival theatre. The place is clean, tidy and well decorated. We are from a mix of the pre-theatre & main a la carte menu, though the pre-theatre certainly offers a good list of choices for...More

We were lucky to get in without a booking! The restaurant seems to be thriving on the back of the theatre and with some justification. The food was well executed in spite of the restaurant being so busy. We'd been to the theatre matinee so...More

Well done fine dinning meals. Don't order the single malts here. They specialize in botanical gin concoctions which are excellent. Grilled goat cheese appetizer super. Salmon Bernaise fabulous. They even made a carrot soup that wasn't bland.

We went to Fern Cottage for our anniversary meal and can safely say it was one of the best meals we have ever had. The atmosphere and staff are lovely. Will definitely be going back when we next visit Pitlochry.

We usually come here when visiting Pitlochry for the Blair Atholl Horse Trials and are never disappointed. We were well looked after by Ina, Diane and Kathryn and the food was very good. Very busy so bubbling atmosphere

The waitress was so awkward, felt like she was a robot speaking off a script. Food is slightly overpriced but was very tasty. However service was slow, spent 20 minutes trying to get someone's attention to get the bill, in the end just went up...More

We are located as close as you can get to the heart of this picturesque Victorian town. Our menus have an emphasis on flavour, the freshness of Scotlands' larder and a taste of the Mediterranean. There is now more than ever on offer with different menus at lunch and dinner times.
