Jumped in here one lunch time, £6.95 for a 3 courses. Sat a few minutes before we realised it was a buffet. All the usual suspects. Starters, plenty of various curries, rice, nans etc.... Nothing fancy, nice and clean. Ideal for a bite when your out for a few beers in the afternoon....

The point in my review is to make others aware of this restaurant, as going by the reviews dating back months on both Tripadvisor and the restaurants Facebook page, the owners neither acknowledge nor care about their customers complaints and concerns. We popped into Sitar this afternoon as my daughter requested a buffet lunch and as we all enjoy Indian... More

Where do I start this place is awful ! Totally disgusted with the food . Cold , hard , dirty plates , dirty table. Toilets oh please don't . Asked to speak to the manger who was so rude and cheeky !! Gave me £3 off the meal . On the way out I let the two families know how... More

My wife and I had the misfortune to bypass other eateries and tried this buffet, all sauce and no meat in the dishes, no naan, just tiny triangles of brick hard garlic bread, I asked if fresh stuff was due to be replacing what looked like the dregs, I was told this was fresh, possibly was fresh days ago but... Booked a table maybe an hour and a bit in advance but the place was quiet when we arrived as it was still quite early in the evening so you could maybe get a table without much wait if you're there early. My girlfriend had the chicken korma which she said was very nice. I had the Punjabi Masala which... More

Have been to this restaurant a few times. The Indian starters and mains are amazing. Really nice manager and staff attentive.

Food over spiced, which I know is subjective, over oiled. Had bhoona, vegetable curry, no doubt made from same sauce. Butter chicken which was no different from a basic korma. Chicken was cut into badly size chunks.

My question is this. When the toilets in a restaurant has no soap or drying facilities, where do the chefs and staff wash their hands when nature calls???? The restaurant looks and feels dirty and in need of renovation. Old paint curls and hangs from ceilings. Tools and scrap are lying around. The food was pretty tasteless anyway but when... More
