We were at a Funeral and went back here for tea. I was very disappointed with this the tea was stewed and the food that we had was not the usual standard. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We had a lovely drink and the atmosphere in the place was good.

Great food, attentive staff, pleasant atmosphere. I would recommend the Indian tapas. My friends and I will keep coming back here.

I would like to thank the staff at the hotel for making a good night out a great one. The food is fantastic, hot and served quickly to the table (and there were 15 of us!). Never had a bad meal here and will definitely be coming back.

This place is an absolute joke of an establishment.Even 1 star is too much but I cannot give any less! As someone who travels on a regular basis for business I have never been treated or placed in this position before. Booked for 1 night weeks ago for an overnight Bed and Breakfast. Cost was deducted from our credit card... More

The food was generally very good quality and very good value and orders were taken until 21.30, helpful if returning from Glasgow in the evening to this quiet area in need of a meal.

This is perhaps not the most cheerful kind of meal but, on a recent visit, I was greatly impressed by the quality of the food and the pleasant and sensitive service provided by staff. We were given home made soup with plentiful rolls followed by a buffet of well filled sandwiches, vol au vents and other savoury items, with tea... More

First visit for two years. The staff remembered us! Warm welcome with easy access for disabled. Good toilet facilities. There is a huge collection of whiskies and the restaurant is spacious and well light. Service quick and not fussy. Soups, veg and mushroom were ok. My wife had fish and chips, l had the lamb burger, our companion had chicken.... More
