My partner and I went here for a casual meal expecting no frills but decent food. We were the only people in the place on a Saturday afternoon...which tells you a lot! Our food was tasteless and bland. I cud hav cooked better myself...and I'm no expert! For an Italian restaurant you wud expect lasagne to be a safe bet... More

It was my 21st, and we had booked the restaurant for dinner for 18 people weeks in advance. When we got there, the first alarm bell rang when they informed us they didn't have any white wine, which was the drink several of the party had asked for. Then they gave us menus, but only one between two, as they... More

Shockingly poor service and dreadful food. I was embarrassed being the organiser of the family get together. My mushroom stroganof was inedible as i was served a block of uncooked rice, who gets rice wrong!? I could go on and on however running out of red wine was the last straw! The manager was unprepared for a large group and... More

We went to this restaurant a few years ago and loved it! Went last week for my birthday and hated it! Food was awful! The place was dead and there was 4 members of staff standing around chatting while a male member of staff did all the work! He was the only one who was friendly and helpful, the other... More

I bought a Groupon voucher for a main course of pasta, pizza or risotto for 4 people. I went with my Mum, Aunt and Uncle. We had originally booked several weeks earlier only to arrive and find the restaurant was closed! The owner was most apologetic about the mix-up, and explained that a new staff member had taken the booking... More

Wasn't impressed at all. Waited ages for the food which was below average. We were asked if we wanted foccaci bread we accepted but we're given garlic pizza bread. Over priced and the service was poor. Won't be back .

From the moment we have arrived to the way out everything has been great. We've ordered mix of pizza, home made tapas and assorted seafood. Nothing could be faulted. Food was freshly cooked and full of flavor. Service atentive and pleasant. Thank you for great afternoon.

Description
Casa Italia is a family run restaurant privately owned and managed by our Head Chef, Domenico. Domenico is from southern Italy and has a lovely menu to share with you that includes traditional classic pasta dishes and stone baked pizzas as well as a selection of meats and fish dishes all freshly cooked to order. He is also happy to adjust our menu offerings at any time to accommodate our customers' dietry requests or taste options. Casa Italia Ristorante opened at the end of November 2012 having been completely renovated from a former church building in the heart of Clydebank. We have installed a disabled lift access for customers who require wheelchair or pram access and have disabled washroom facilities alongside baby changing facilities. We are located on the corner of Montrose Street and Kilbowie Road with car parking facilities which we share with the Atlantis Bar. Casa Italia has seating arrangements for 110 customers which includes a balcony dining area for 40 to 50 guests. Our balcony dining area offers larger groups a designated location within our restaurant and can also be set up for a buffet. This area is also used for adult only dining, turning Casa into the perfect romantic setting.. Our team worked hard in our 1st year to secure a finalist place in the highly acclaimed Scottish Italian Restaurants Awards 2013 in the category of Best Newcomer - something we are very proud of. We have a fabulous team of caring and attentive staff guided by Domenico and our restaurant manager Peter who bring a great deal of humour and attention to all our customers. We open our doors every day to welcome you with your family and friends to join our family at Casa for a pleasant dining experience at our beautiful family home at Casa Italia. Our main restaurant does not have fixed booth seating therefore we can comfortably set larger groups within our restaurant area as well as intimate tables for 2.
