Based on an awe inspiring out-crop of the west cork coast, this locally run café is both charming and well located. On a Friday evening the smell of freshly baked pizza wafts across the harbour, greeting you as you disembark from the ferry. On this cold October evening, I was lucky enough to have a pizza ordered for me, unfortunately... More

Ate here on many occasions over a month long stay on Cape Clear. Lovely location by the water in the North Harbour. Outside seating on fine days. Plenty character within. Straightforward menu with huge portions. We carried down a few pints from the pub upstairs too. Couldn't bate it with a big stick. Service slows during very busy periods -... More

We had dinner here one night of our stay. I had the hamburger and it was one of the finest burgers I've had for a long time. Unfortunately it took over a hour for it to arrive. Great location, great food and prices are keen. My only advice is to order your meal, go for a walk or a few... More

I went on a day trip with my daughters at the start of June. My eldest daughter left her retainer (braces) in An Siopa Beag after a lovely lunch. While on the return boat trip to Baltimore, I realized that she had left it at the restaurant. I called them immediately, and was told they'd sort something out and call... More

Based on the north harbour of this extraordinary island it is the first port of call for the intrepid traveller. An Siopa Beag has it all; shop, café, and welcome.

I am now lucky enough to have spent two weeks in Rome this year and ate out most days. I can now say, hand on heart that the Pizzas served in this little shop on a little rock in the Atlantic at the very western tip of Europe serves better Pizza than all the Roman resurants i tried. See you... More

Not far from the ferry...perfect location for lunch if you take the morning ferry from Baltimore. You can sit outside as well and get a great view of the harbour. You can also get a pint there. Enjoyed a nice walk of the island in the afternoon and back to the restaurant for a snack and a pint before the... More

Great food at prices lower than we expected. Also it is near both the ferry drop off/pick up location, and the start of the island's 2 main trails (green and red) so the location is great. Friendly staff. Can sit inside or outside. We wished we could have spent more time on the island than we originally planned for!
