What a great time we had at Cruises. Teresa is the best!!!!! The drinks and music were the best. I would definitely recommend you go in and say "Hi" to Teresa. Tell her the friends of Dermot sent you.

We absolutely loved going to this quaint pub. The music was the local experience we were looking for and the people were very friendly! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a true Irish bar.

Just down the hill from the center of old Ennis, Cruise's is a good choice for a meal, pint, and music. There is a nice mix of locals and tourists, and the menu is quite sufficient. Great seafood, salads, and deserts. In the evenings you...More

We were passing through Ennis on our way back from the Cliffs of Moher. We were intrigued by the sign on the side of the building which says the restaurant dates from the mid 1600's and wanted to see if it was true. The interior...More

This Pub is in a beautiful town, walking in from the cold, we were met by a friendly waitress, good atmosphere and even better food. We shared the soup of the day and then tucked into a delicious Irish stew. It's right next to the...More

This place is really several venues in one, in the front bar you can expect irish traditional music most weekday nights and then at weekends you'll find one of a variety of top covers bands that play anything from, rock, pop, to reggae. Also towards the rear...More

In the winter, at least, Cruises is the only bar with live music on a Tuesday night. It was a traditional Irish session, wonderfully done, with musicians coming and going. Old, historic building with wall from original abbey from the 1100s.

It's quiet early on so one can view the architecture--stone floors, wooden beams, antique tables and chairs. The music starts around 9:30-10 and is a true taste of local culture and charm.

We heard live music while walking past so we went in for a pint and ended up staying until bar close! Very friendly staff and the music was good.

Description
Wonderful atmosphere for a sing-along, and one can enjoy listening to many famous musicians nightly during the Summer. Come and enjoy a 'session' with many of Clare's well known musicians. The pub gets its name from a famous tailor who resided in the area, made famous by the song "Spancill Hill" which has the June Fair held in the locality each year.
