Great place for take away but you can eat in too. Don't expect too much though. We liked it, it's actually not expensive and the special offers have a very good price! Staff was kind of funny, was nice!

Spice Route has a simple setting with an amazing menu. Spicy food lovers this place is for you. I am obsessed with the food here. I discovered this place due to the proximity with my school and have been going here since secondary. The only...More
There is very little of which you can be critical where the Spice Route is concerned. They are-to quote Fr Ted-'a great bunch of lads', who love what they do, do it well and don't charge the earth for it. The staff are predominantly friendly,...More

Every few weeks I am drawn back to this place for their Chicken Tikka Special. What a great value meal. For €6 you get - Half portion of chiken tikka masala, half portion of rice, one samosa, one naan, poppadom and a bottle of water....More
Absolutely grand for a quick takeaway in the city. Very fresh and the staff are nice. Don't be put off by decor but do remember its a takeaway and not your fine-dining experience. Really good naan.
It feels a bit odd rating a takeaway as a restaurant. They do have a sit in area if you need a shelter from the rain. For whatever it's worth, we had an excellent Chicken Tikka Masala at this place.
