Having had a reasonable experience some years ago at this place, and enticed by the "Jazz Weekend" menu on the door and the friendly welcome of the doorman, we expected some good evening food in a reputed Cork hostelry. How mistaken we were! It took a few minutes for the (not overwhelmed) staff behind the bar to notice the 3... More

My husband noticed this place when we visited Elizabeth Fort. I'm not sure what drew him because there isn't much to make it stand out from the outside, anyway I'm glad he did. I'm also glad that they had sold out of the roast lamb & that our waitress recommended the beef. I hesitate to order beef because I'm so... More

Stumbled on it on a wet day in Cork. It is a little bit off the main thoroughfares but well worth looking for. Lovely relaxing interior and top class food served by top class staff. Will definitely be back.Seems to be freqented by locals as the staff greeted many by name and this is always a good sign.

There is always a lovely greeting and welcome for you at this warm establishment. The staff are very friendly and extremely customer-focused. They do REAL pizza in their Courtyard nighttime section of the business but when I asked for it at lunchtime today, there wasn't even a hesitation - no problem at all. It was one of the nicest pizzas... More

Called in to flying enterprise over the jazz weekend and I have to say top class a credit to its owners and for the old school yard beer garden pub restaurant and music venue it well worth just calling in during the day for a look at the set up and history of the premises. Go at night for the... More

Fantastic variety of options on the breakfast menu, ranging from Full Irish to Salmon and scrambled eggs etc, etc The Full Irish breakfast with all the trimmings was gorgeous! Service and food excellent, we are looking forward to returning very soon.

Dropped by this large pub during the Jazz weekend. Could it believe how expansive the space is. Ordered pizza, which was very tasty. Jazz band good. Like the decor.

We entered on a cold and rainy afternoon just looking for anything to satisfy our hunger. We were met at the door with a friendly pat on the back (literally), and what commenced was among my top 5 dining experiences ever. Started the meal with a vegetable soup that was out-of-this-world. I followed that up with a chicken and chorizo... More

I hit it on a very quiet night but maybe that was because it was about 7pm. The staff were very friendly. The food as usual was good.
