been eating at the abbey for around 2 years now and find the staff and food excellent. Our daughter has special needs so sometimes uses a wheelchair or an assistance dog, they always have been very welcoming. The food is excellent and great value, going there next Sunday cant wait. Tip advisable to book especially on Sundays

I had a gorgeous breakfast here this morning with some friends. They have a great veggie option. I had eggs benedict and it was delicious. Plenty of options and great value. We will be back!

After walking Darkness into light and having a few hours catch up sleep, decided to head to the abbey for breakfast albeit at about 14:00 hrs. Breakfast is served late into the day which suits both early and late risers. Breakfast, a full Irish was perfectly done and presented with a round of toast and coffee. Service as always was... I/we started having breakfast here about a year and a half ago. The breakfast was fantastic. But slowly over time it's gone down hill. The breakfast now is dry, overdone and over priced. The tea is like water. The fruit and yogurt is a couple of badly chopped apple and oranges with a dollop of yoghurt. Again over priced. This establishment... More

I've had so many different things to eat and the Abbey, and I couldn't say for certain which my favourite was because they were all so great. The menu changes every so often which is great. The desserts are out of this world. Too nice.

We went there to celebrate a project closure. The food was great. Unfortunately I missed on the menue that it contained mussels, which I am allergic to. They exchanged my dish immediately. Superb service and the Fish was great.

It was a wonderful evening. I sauntered up to this rather understated location on a romantic get-away with my new husband following a sublime celebration with more than a small pain in the head, yet upon taking our first steps inside this elegant and eloquent rest we were cared for in an undoubtedly unrivalled fashion. The maître d', a freakishly... More
