Beautiful place to stay with a homely and relaxed atmosphere. Rooms are unique and the beds are extremely comfy. Food is excellent and the hospitality is outstanding. We will definitely be back to visit.

Food is very nice but you wouldn't want to have a huge appetite. A little bit dark inside but overall it is nice.

Haven't been here for a long time, unusually we also decided to stay overnight. The room was delightful, with antique furniture and a stained glass wall. We headed down to the bar to have a drink beforehand and were greeted with a long list of classy gins and their suitable tonics. Headed into the restaurant and had beautiful Hereford steak... More

We have come to Danny Minnie's now for 7 years in a row for our Wedding Anniversary. Every year we are greeted by the same friendly faces who remembers us instantly. Food is absolutely amazing and lovely old fashioned rooms is what keeps us returning every year. Highly recommended.

One night stay, beautifully decorated comfortable room, very nice menu, we both had fish dishes, a nice treat in the heart of west Donegal...and Sharkey's bar is a good place to watch Celtic beat the rangers 5-1;-)

This is a really unexpected gem in the middle of south west Donegal. I love Donegal but apart from the odd fish restaurant you don't really expect to find a fine dining experience there, and that's not really what Donegal is about. Dannie Minnie's however could compete with any 5* restaurant in any European metropolitan city. The dining room is... More

My wife and I have been to Danny Minnies previously and enjoyed the experience and I booked it again well in advance to celebrate a birthday. The place was really busy with a couple of big groups and the maitre'd seemed a little under pressure when taking our order. We were shown to our seats which where squeezed into a... More

We were having a romantic meal to celebrate my husband's 50th and it started off well. We were greeted and brought to the bar for pre dinner drinks and shown the menu and ordered our meal and wine. What a disappointment the meal was for us. We were seated in a wee alcove away from the buzz. That would have... More
