What a fab little place about a 10 minute walk from temple bar square prices are halved but the atmosphere is just as good, me an my partner watched the AJ fight there but they show every sport live on massive projectors. Food was lovely chips a little salty but couldn't fault anything else, definitely recommend !

Super screens with multiple games/sports from all around the world. The best atmosphere to watch the big games as well. The pitchers are reasonable priced and the half and half (chicken wings and chips) go down nicely with a cold pint. The only place i'll go with my friends to watch a big match

Myself and a friend came here thanks to a lovindublin cocktail list and it turned out the cocktail wasn't even on the menu. We were disappointed but ordered 2 other ones from their very nice well priced cocktail menu. When the staff heard why we were there they went to the trouble of making us the off menu cocktail and... ok, first off, the furniture is as uncomfortable as you could find in Dublin, so much so that you wont want to stay all night. but, they have a decent selection of drinks and food, not too overpriced, and they have midweek deals which are quite good. one of the few pubs in the area that offers a cheap pint... Thanks for taking the time to let us know about your experience in The Woolshed. Point taken about the high tables and stools, we do have over 20 booths with low tables and banquette seating which is very comfortable. Unfortunately it's also the first seating to be taken! Our Friday night bingo isn't for everyone that's true, just like Karaoke... More

The spicy wings are very spicy. I'm in pain. But it's a good pain. Blue cheese dip for the win. I'm sweating profusely and it's not an attractive look for anyone unfortunate enough to be situated beside me. I'll have a chance to cool down drinking beer and watching football. The staff even helped me fish my phone out from... More

Been here a few times and the place is awesome! It can get a little busy but it doesn't take to long to be served a drink from the bars they have on both floors. Would highly recommend for a drink. Travelled as group of 3 on a Friday Evening.

I ordered a pint of Heineken, the bartender went on the other bar to take the draft, because the one in front of me didn't work. The beer didn't taste like Heineken at all. Watery and with no flavor. After asking the waiter he took it inside brought it back and said it was ok. Won't step in back

We are very sorry to hear you didn't have a good experience with us recently. We have looked in to the matter and have advised staff that if a keg runs out mid serve to inform the customer and see if they want to wait while the keg is changed or top up the pint from another bar. Would always... More

We just arrived in Dublin when the NCAA March Madness tournament games started, so my husband found this place. It was a 10 minute walk from our hotel and they had a whole separate space that was moderately sized with multiple TVs playing the games. The food was good (a bit overpriced) and had pitchers of beer (pricey as well)... More

March Madness is always a busy time here, we know how important the college basketball is to our visitors. Can we suggest that you always check at the bar for special offers if you find items overpriced, usually some deals going on, like our pitchers of Dublin Blue lager for €10. Good to know that overall you had a good... More

As the name suggests we are a sports bar with the flavour of the Southern Hemisphere, (without the weather!!).

Opened on January 23rd 2003, The Woolshed quickly became the go to place for sports fans looking for a home from home, spread over 4 bars, with 3 giant screens and twenty 50” TVs. We can give 600 people a good view of the game, while still maintaining that Aussie “no worries” welcome to all.

Over the years the Woolshed has become known for being the best place to watch sport, we show it all, from SupeRugby, NRL, Rugby Championship, (and of course we will show every one of the Lions Tour matches) to AFL, NFL and of course all the soccer you can wish for!

It doesn’t stop after the final whistle with all our free nightly entertainment. Monday Comedy night, Pub Quiz Tuesday, Wednesday Brazilian Party, Karaoke every Thursday, Friday Rock Star Bingo & live bands and weekend DJs.

Our menu is served from 12noon to 10pm every day, with a huge choice of burgers, pizza, nachos, platters and our regularly voted “best hot wings in town”! We also have an extensive range of drinks from the Southern Hemisphere to choose from, beers including VB, Crown, Tui, Speights and Castle to spirits like Bundy, 42 below, Klipdrift and Fernet Branca. We don’t leave out the local Irish craft brews either.

The Woolshed is fun evenings, great food and drinks and most importantly after 14 years we are still a home from home for those who share our love of sports.

So, where the bloody hell are ya?
