We happened to be there for the very late lunch and were lucky to have a chance to order from the 'pre-dinner' menu - which was very reasonably priced, and the food was absolutely amazing.

Beautiful steak here, cooked to perfection with wonderful cuts of meat. It's not cheap but you get what you pay for, I couldn't recommend it highly enough for a lovely piece of meat. Sweet potato & coconut soup too was lovely.

I'd stopped eating steaks in restaraunts because they can be so inconsistent. Don't worry here! I'm told their reputation's built on their history of being a family butcher - it's easy to see why! Excellent cuts of beef, well cooked. I'm sure they can do...More

The title says it all. If it were possible I would have given 4,5 stars. We had the Montepulciano which we recommend. Good service. Only our starter (goat cheese cream) lacked some character. We will definitely go back for the meat.

While in Dublin, we ate here twice. The steak was melt in your mouth fantastic and was cooked exactly as we asked for. The service was also very good. More than enough for two to share with a nice bottle of wine. We shared a...More

Hi , give them a ring, explain special occasion and enjoy. With all the excitement meeting family I am sure they will be talking very loud and won't notice the other customers. Have a ice time.😀

Description
Dublin's original steakhouse with the experience and knowledge of over 25 years of serving the perfect steak. We change our menus each season to reflect the best that Irish produce has to offer and to ensure the highest quality of local fresh seafood. We offer an informed wine list to meet all budgets and an extensive selection of cocktails and spirits. We are also open for weekday for lunch serving health and tasty dishes at very reasonable prices. The way in which we guarantee the highest quality in beef in both texture and flavour is by choosing Irish beef and the highest grade of traditional breeds of cattle. At F.X.BUCKLEY our prime cuts are hung on the bone at 4°C and at 80% humidity for a minimum of 28 days. Storing meat for several weeks where it can loose up to 16% of it's weight involves considerable expertise so all F.X.BUCKLEY butchers are specifically trained for the process. The benefit for our patrons is to experience the concentration and saturation of natural meat flavours and superior tenderness. Hence why you will hear experts use terms such as "buttery and rich", and "earthy and nutty" to describe our dry-aged beef.
