Lots of places do not open in Dublin until after 2pm on a Sunday so I was glad we found somewhere for breakfast. Two bagels - mine with cream cheese and partner's with cream cheese and bacon - were good and just what was required

This cafe has a very appealing "MINI BREAKFAST" option which I think is about €5.90 including: One egg, one sausage, one rasher, toast and tea of coffee. Great Value. However the food arrived very quickly (not a bad thing) but had the appearance and taste of reheated food. The quality of the sausage and rasher was not great and the... More

We stopped by this cafe after a long walk for a spot of lunch and ordered the soup of the day with cheese and ham toastie. Food was absolutely delicious and plentiful. The cafe is somewhat small and might struggle to accommodate larger groups.

This is a fine and functional little café across the road from Matt The Threshers. Good service from the staff but it lacks any atmosphere. I hate the fact that they microwave the eggs for breakfast so tend to stick to a coffee and toast when I visit.

There's a lack of places in Dublin that serve a mix of good food, nice and quiet tables to eat and helpful and smiling staff. But this is one of that places! I came here to have lunch often and I really enjoy it.

I do feel that the Rhubarb Cafe is a good place to grab a quick breakfast. It is good value and the menu offers a fair choice of hot dishes or scones etc.etc. Their coffee is particularly good. Not overly sophisticated, but at 9.00 in the morning, it suits. And they do provide newspapers.

Have had early breakfast here a number of times when i have had meetings in the area. Nice to pop in for a quick poached egg on toast, and have a read of the paper while enjoying your breakfast. Tends to start to get bust from about 8.30 on so get in early. Friendly service and handy location.
