Had fish and chips here with a group of six on a Friday night with no reservation, they managed to get us in. The food was decent but a bit greasy (but it was fish chips). The service was good. I would eat here again.

This venue modest, but dished up the best fish and chips I've ever tasted. Very good cocktails delicious food, quiet setting, right by the canal.

Very happy we had reservations. As soon as we arrived they began turning people away that had not reserved. Food better than average but waitstaff had to be flagged down to refill drinks, etc.

Not quite sure why it is rated so high. On the plus side, the chicken wings were excellent and the hamburger was good too. However, the calamari and sea bream were very average. The waiter left the table dirty between the courses. All in all,...More

During this visit to Ireland, we took four couples to the Sussex. As usual, the service is some of the best in the city and the food was great. Our friends were surprised at the prices, especially when they were not used to the very...More

I was looking forward to an excellent dinner and it was....fine. For starters I ordered the grilled peach and tomato salad with Halloumi. When your salad consists of three slices of tomato and three slices of grilled peach they should be the best tomatoes and...More

Hi, We are happy to cater for young families. However, we are situated upstairs. Also, we don't open for lunch at the weekends.
