This bar/restaurant over looks the canal. The 3rd floor balcony of the restaurant portion offers a neat view. Prices are average for the area. I had a great caesar salad. Alot of lettuce and perfectly cooked chicken. They often have live music and the gentleman that performed tonight was excellent.

This beautiful bar is at the end of the Ha'Penny Bridge on the south side of the River Liffey. We sat at a table on the second level at the railing so we could see and hear the guitarist/singer there. He was very good, playing Irish tunes as well as customer requests. We both had the Beef and Guinness Casserole.... More

We stopped off here for lunch and had their Irish Stew which was quite tasty. The musician was very good and the atmosphere was lively.

Gluten free options seemed to consist of Irish Stew or Cottage pie. I had cottage pie and it was delicious. Great favours and filling. Well worth a visit - especially the climb to the restaurant - just allow plenty of time to look around as you climb!

My fiance and I were in Dublin for a couple of nights and decided to head to Temple Bar Area. We came to Merchant's Arch as we heard live music playing and thought it looked as good as any place else. The service by the waitress was great, and the music was good too. Now to the bad parts. My... More

We stopped in on a Friday night to grab a bite, and were happy to find some live music happening as well. We sat upstairs, which was good for having a conversation while also listening to music. The food was great and arrived quickly, and the venue is beautiful! It was a very enjoyable evening.

We had a great evening here. We ate in the "balcony" area above the bar, great spot for listening and watching the live music. Two mid-teenagesr with us and no hassle, very mixed age group of customers which made is very relaxed. Food was great, pub grub type menu, all very hot and freshly cooked. Friendly and efficient staff. Just... More

We visited about 5pm on a Thursday evening and just managed to get a table just before the music started. The guy was very good and played nonstop all the time we were in there which must have been 2 hours. It had a great lively atmosphere with batter with the musician whose singing was of a high standard (not... More

Popped in for a drink whilst making our way to temple bar area. The building takes your eye as you cross the ha'penny bridge and the decor inside is just as eye catching. Check out the plane above your head on floor 2 ! The music on both floors was very good - traditional Irish on ground level and something... More
