After a couple of hours walking about, we stumbled onto this place, looking for a late breakfast. Although well past 12, he was good enough to make 3 full breakfasts from scratch. And worth the wait it was too.

Bumped into this place by accident. Small breakfast/lunchroom ran by a former cruise chef. Everything in here is a little slow, and the preparation of your food will take a little while, but is well worth the (still pretty short) wait, as everything is prepared freshly on the spot (even soups). Lunched here twice, had a veggie and a tuna... More

This is honestly the worst cafe I have been to in Dublin. Upon arriving at the cafe, we were told to sit down, waiting 10 minutes before being greeted with any menus. After finally giving out orders for food and coffee, it was another 20 minutes before I received my soup add-on that was meant to come with the sandwich,... More

Popped in for a quick lunch in urban picnic alongside my partner last week. We both ordered the soup of the day which was described as roasted veg. It tasted and looked artificial - probably came straight from a pack of processed soup mix. The service was a bit slow as well. The only positive thing was the friendly waitress... More

Vinny the owner chef is seriously talented. His food is amazing. From the outside you think its going to be a little cafe with cafe food. But the food here would give any restaurant a run for its money. As all the dishes are cooked fresh it can take a little longer than expected. But a million percent worth the... More

Went here lunchtime on a Saturday with my boyfriend. There was one other couple in there so it was far from busy. I ordered a toasted ciabatta and a fruit smoothie. My boyfriend's food and coffee came and went. I was waiting half an hour for my ciabatta and then received it after my boyfriend had finished his meal. Never... More

I was on the hunt for a really good soup one cold day... After much searching, I stumbled upon this place tucked inside of a mini indoor/market. I asked what the soup of the day was and if it was homemade, the chef/owner (I believe) was so proud of his soup I had to try it, the soup was a... More

I was wandering around this quaint little shopping area when I saw Urban Picnic and couldn't resist checking out this café. They have a variety homemade soups, sandwiches, wraps, salads to choose from and they make their bread fresh daily. I had the Chicken Tikka on ciabatta...one of the best sandwiches I've ever had! Usually at a restaurant like this... More
