This is one of my favourite places to eat in the world! It's got an amazing menu - something for everyone - veggie, vegan, flexi, pesci or carnivore - it's all here! Really healthy choices or naughty one's - your choice - It's got a very good friendly buzzy atmosphere. I was in Dublin for 2 days and I ate... More

Love the restaurant on the 2nd floor of Avoca, delicious food and great service, have visited lots of times, it's very busy at lunchtime/ weekends but it's worth the wait, breakfast & lunch options are varied and yum ! Note they add a service charge automatically to all bills. Also it is quite cramped as all the tables are very... More

Had lunch in Avoca on Suffolk St at the end of February. As always you couldn't fault the food or service. However, was annoyed by two things. On receiving the bill, it had service charge added. No problem with that, but why then have a "tip" jar at the till. Secondly, on reviewing the bill later in the day I... More

Avoca is a shop and restaurant recommended to us by our hotel so we checked it out for lunch, and tiny as it was, the restaurant was packed. The food was a tad fusion, drawing inspiration from western dishes, Italian, Middle Eastern. We had a little bit of everything and LOVED the food. Brisk, clean flavours, very satisfying. We had... The shop is cute and the cafe and restaurant are both brilliant! The upstairs restaurant while a bit expensive is worth it with fantastic meals, drinks and a quirky, friendly vibe. Downstairs is very affordable for those wanting to eat healthy on a budget, they also make fantastic coffee and have take away meals. Highly recommend a visit!

On Tuesday I met a friend for lunch in Avoca Cafe. I had not been there before and was delighted with first of all the warm welcome and friendly atmosphere. The food was so different and very tasty. I loved the Persian Lamb with baba ghanoush, with giant couscous and other lovely mezes. Service was excellent and very friendly. There... More

Wanting something fast, I sat with the business folks on lunch break and was beyond pleased with the menu. They marinate meat and chicken overnight and offer sandwiches--One of the best roast beef sandwiches ever! Self serve and there is an array of sandwiches, salads and special desserts. I always bring home two loaves of their brown bread--the best!
