This is a fine pub with nice staff and good food, however the website needs to be amended as the 4€ pints are now Sunday to Tuesday not to Wednesday as advertised, very popular with local offices .

Food that's been under lights all day? Giving what it is I'd rate it 9 out of 10 or even 9.5. Can I rate it at 10? I mean it's a carvery and exceeded all expectations. Nicer than most roast dinners other pubs cite to serve fresh. Loads of meat, all the expected trimmings and they had no problem allowing... More

I awoke after a heavy night on the slosh - hungry, confused... knowing my hunger would not be eased with a light meal, and through sheer luck, remembered about hearing the good words said about the carvery in the 51 bar, I thought it was my time to give it a shot... solo... I arrived in there for the first... More

This pub looks small on the outside, but when you go inside, you find it's nearly 3x larger! There's plenty of room for seating in here, and the menu is fairly cheap. The food was good, it wasn't too noisy, and there was a really cool ceiling fixture in the back room. The best thing was the deal at the... More

Great deal €12 for main (we both had steak) salad, fries and drink (long next beer or wine or diff drink). Food was delicious in a quiet quaint Irish Pub. Will definitely return.

Great steak and good eating area at the back. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Plenty of TV for soccer and football and non smoking areas.

If you like roasts & ordinary decent food this is for you. Brilliant carvery lunch. 2 or 3 joints per day carved in front of you by chef Alan. Plus specials fish & curry & stew etc. Very reasonable. Toilet Report: alright Pricing: very reasonable Recomendations to Owner: Get a better white wine selection. House white is woeful.

Ordered bangers and mash for 10.90. What a joke Looked nothing like it. Should be a bed of mash alot more than the 3 scoops he put on plate. With the center parted to hold the onion gravy and sausages... and not 2 mediocre sausages. For 10.90 hell no... more like 7.99eur max Even the carrots were still hard not... More

Nice pub in a nice part of Dublin. The 12 euro deal for a pint and a main course is excellent value especially as the food is really good. I had the burger and fries - top notch pub grub. The barman did not seem that bothered about the whole food thing and his lack of enthusiasm let the place... More

Went here for a 30th few weeks back, really thought it was just going to be regular place with standard service... I couldn't of been so wrong. Had food downstairs before the party, was quite busy and there were no sits available, one of the waitresses spotted us straight away looking around and she got us seated quickly. Menus were...
