Cool cosy intimate space boasting probably the best Italian fare in Dublin. I could have drank the olive oil straight from the bottle. The starter of Baratta Mozzarella was flown in from Napoli that morning, I never knew Mozzarella could induce euphoria in me.The ravioli with black truffle was one of the best pasta dishes, I have ever eaten..in my... I have been there.. won't go back. Menu is limited, very limited. Food is mediocre! Mozzarella was good but the way they served it was awful.. presentation was really bad! Wine was Italian.. was good but too expensive (even a glass of wine). Place is very small 4 to 6 small tables. Owner is the waiter apparently and he was... More

The starters almost never stopped, the creamy buffalo mozzarella and the roasted ham with red onion marmalade being highlights. Onto the secondi, the pasta was amazing, bettered only by the wine (the Valori Montepuliciano d'Abruzzo). Great team too, all friendly Italian bellos. We had a super 72nd birthday celebration there but this place would just as easily suit a second... More

Yesterday we had dinner at this little restaurant down Bachelors Walk. Authentic Italian kitchen, fresh products, great taste and the very lovely host Marco. If you're looking for a fine experience in Italian food and hospitality, I would recommend them! P.s. He writes your name in macchiatos.

This hidden place in the city center of Dublin is one of the best Italian restaurants I have ever been (at least out of Italy). The place is really small, a bit dark with candles like which I think makes the environment there so unique. High quality food and amazing service (I can only say that portions are not too... More

a wonderful night spent here recently with friends. Wonderful red wine and food, the Mozzarella starter was full of taste and flavour as as the squid main dish. However the chocolate dessert was to die for. This is an experience like dining in your grannies 50 years ago

We have gone there a different times, and each time it has been amazing! Marco and all at the restaurant always are great fun and helpful. The food is always brilliant quality. We had a group of 17 in the private room upstairs yesterday, and again, they were fantastic, and really made it into a special event for us all!... More

Only complaint I could have about this place is that it's so damn good, every restaurant in Dublin pales in comparison to it, simple perfect cooking, staff who make you feel welcome and it's the best Italian in Dublin by a mile, half the things on the menu aren't available but I can't think of a time that I didn't... I need to ensure as many people know a few home truths about Terra Madre before they make the leap into what is said to be an authentic cosy restaurant. Unfortunately I didn't read any review prior to my visit informing me of the new and highly disappointing set up! We arrived full of enthusiasm to try the authentic cuisine... More
