I visited with my wife. We had the daily specials, which were penne with halibut, and margarita pizza with an additional topping of your choice. The pizza was good, with that lovely crispy base that a good oven will give, yet not too dry. The...More

It's been quite a while since I last visited this restaurant, last time it was with the family and this time it was with a group of girls. I have to say this is still one of the jewels in the crown of the north...More

From the moment we arrived we were disappointed, they had no record of our reservation but they did seat us to be fair . The only thing is it was on top of a draught from the door everytime it opened. The food which was...More

Superb meal. An authentic Italian restaurant, so when we were there it was noisy and full of kids and families. Fair enough. Bottle of Chianti and a lovely starter (bruschetta and calamari fritti) and the world starts to melt away from view and earshot. Good...More

Went here before when the were still at the old and small location 2 doors down. Now wanted to re-experience their new site which is about 10 times larger? Thus the atmosphere of eating at the cozy and tiny restaurant may be gone. It has...More

A very disappointing delivery order. The order took over an hour to arrive - could potentially put it down to a busy Saturday night - but both the pasta and pizza dish were luke warm at best. Seriously sloppy pizza. The pasta dish had leaked...More

Da Mimmo moved from its original premises just a couple of doors up the street - it's bigger but still compact. But it's still serving up some of the best Italian food anywhere in Dublin. Our group had pizzas, pasta dishes and risotto, and we...More

Pizza here is very good! Almost like in Italy! The other food is also pretty good and Italian style!

The are two huge squares to park, I guess after 7pm it should be pretty much quite easy to park; otherwise it is plenty of parking spaces in the streets nearby. I suggest a stroll after eating 😉
