Our local drinking hole while in Dublin. Great staff, love a chat. The rooftop bar is good for a ciggie. Very protected but retractable roof. Close to our hotel the Jury's inn

We visited here on a visit to Dublin. The food was fantastic especially the chips and the Guinness casserole. There was a great selection of beers and whisky which made the men happy. The service was very good and the staff were really friendly.

Open since 1911,this establishment has a handsome reputation for good food and drink. For me Dublin is one big Pub,so its a matter of seeking out the best ones,a painstaking, pleasurable task.. The Heritage lounge is a split level affair with a quaint olde world feel. There is akso a nice rooftop terrace where occasional barbecues are held. The menu... More

We dined at Parnell's twice during our stay in Dublin. First time out there were six of us. We were promptly seated and served. In our group we had baked hake over mashed potatoes and vegs, Irish stew, Guinness Beef casserole, and fish and chips. Nobody left anything on their plates. The second time there were just two of us... More

The service was great by the manager steven. The staff couldnt be more pleasant and helpful. Strongly strongly recommend the Goats cheese tartlet with roasted vegies (not the starter but mains) absolutely amazing. It wouldnt normally be something i would choose but so glad i did. Will come back in a few days for it again

Ate here on a Sunday evening, everyone more than happy with their meals (burger, steak & tarte). Good portion sizes and tasty! The atmosphere was nice, background music but quiet enough to talk. The staff were very attentive and looked after us all evening.

Lovely bar for drinks, cocktails are lovely. Bar staff are lovely. Very welcoming, food wasn't great for money paid. But fabulous bar.

We had a late lunch at the Parnell and the food was soo yummy. I had the Irish Stew (the lamb just melted in my mouth) and my husband had the bacon and cabbage...he asked for the recipe for the sauce. We met the owner Louie when we wanted to compliment the chef and he was friendly and proud of... More

I came with my girlfriend on a sunny afternoon to enjoy a coffee on their "rooftop terrace". As we arrived, we were stopped a bit rudely by the barman as we where heading to the stairs. He told us there was no one at the roof bar and we needed to order at the ground bar. It was a bit... More

Hi Gaultier, Thank you for your feedback. Our roof top area (smoking area) is always open to the public, unfortunately at this time there was no staff member free to man the bar. We appreciate your comment & will definitely look into your complaint. Kindest reagrads, Sinead More
