Really enjoyed this place, love the fact its quite dark and the waiter tried his best to get us a wine he thought we might like. Food was good and deserts were tasty.

Walk-in only but person managing this was very efficient and seat us somewhere comfy while waiting for seats to clear up. Out of the dishes we ordered, it was the wild mushrooms in duck egg yolk that won most compliments! The fried baby squid, pan grilled prawns, beef cheeks, lamb stew were all very good. Atmosphere is buzzing with activity... More

Thank you for your review. Our lunch special is fantastic value and we never have any complaints with it. On this occasion it might just be the case that the dishes you ordered were quite small and not filling enough? We are disappointed that you won't return to our restaurant and try our evening menu. Came here on a busy Friday evening in January with 2 friends. When we arrived the place was heaving and we were told we'd have to wait about 10 mins. After no more than 2 mins we were brought out to the back room and given some bottles of water while we waited for our table. We ordered a jug... More

After a long day out we decided to have a safe meal here as we often frequent their other 2 restaurants. Our lamb was charred to destruction.Calamari was like eating rubber bands.Waitress seemed overwhelmed. When I complained which I seldom do the waitress went over and told the manager and he did not even come over personally but she came... More

Hi Simone, we note it was September when you visited our restaurant so unfortunately we can't recall this complaint as it was 4 months ago. Lamb chops were not on our menu in September, would it have been earlier than September when you dined with us? When we did offer lamb chops they were grilled which would make them crispy... More
