I visited here with 7 friends to celebrate my 30th birthday. We were lead to an outside terrace which was heated and centred around a large fire, pashminas also provided. Here Patrick himself took our drinks order and chatted with us. The restaurant itself is very classy and tastefully decorated! The food is to die for and not overly expensive... More

We lunched here with with clients and the restaurant was perfect for this event. The dishes were top quality. The quality approved a lot since our last visit 2 years agoo. The setting as classic & the staff is rather stiff.

It is not just a lunch, it's an experience. It's a day out. From the moment you walk in , to the explosion of flavours on your plate, to the care and attention throughout the meal , this is by far the best eat in Dublin. I love their lunches, a long wonderful indulgence :)

Don't get me wrong, the food is great, but it's very stuffy and overly formal. Pretty much what you'd expect from a 2* restaurant. The staff are lovely but not overbearing and they make a great Old Fashioned.

Firstly: the food was excellent. Not very special, but excellent. Reception with a glass of champagne was good, extremely formal. We went for the chef's surprise menu. Which was excellent but not very special. Basic flavours and classical combinations. Can't go wrong there. First and second course, followed each other rather quickly, so asked for a bit more time in... More

Had a very pleasurable evening at Restaurant Patrick Guilbaud in November 2016. The restaurant was recently refurbished and the decor is wonderful in my opinion. It is opulent with a modern and slightly quirky twist. Gorgeous art on the walls. Relaxing lighting. The service was top notch. We are not in the market for the most expensive wine but the... More

This visit to Restaurant Patrick Guilbaud for lunch was, as always, a delight. For anyone who appreciates the art of food a meal here is always an experience to relish. My friend and I enjoyed a selection of dishes covering a wide spectrum of ingredients - hake, veal etc and unsurprisingly, the extensive cheeseboard proved irresistible after desert ( Yes,... More

Of course we had to try the tasting menu. Did not disappoint. We also had the wine pairing - which was not fantastic but ok. Did not put a damper on our experience. One really cool thing that they did was during the cheese tasting course they matched 3 different wines with 3 different cheeses you chose. Would definitely go... More

Restaurant Patrick Guilbaud has been on my "bucket list" for many years. Had lunch through work in December and did not disappoint. A memorable experience.
