Had lunch here recently, ordered the chicken sandwich thinking for €8.50 it must be better than a normal sandwich but I was very wrong! A very basic sandwich! Declined the cake menu even though they did look fab but probably would be just as expensive!...More

Bewley’s Grafton Street, one of Dublin’s most iconic and celebrated landmarks, has reopened its doors. Following a multi-million- euro refurbishment, the much-loved cafe has been restored to create a bigger, brighter and better-than-ever customer experience. As well as serving the very best coffees and teas, many elements of the original cafe have been carefully restored including the Harry Clarke windows, the historic front facade of the cafe and the open fireplaces. There are also many new additions to the cafe including the complete refurbishment of Johnson’s Court and an expanded in-cafe bakery which will allow visitors to see some of Europe’s finest pastry chefs and bakers create the unique and delicious treats on offer, including the beautiful Bewley’s Cafe Gourmand, Coffee Opera Cake and, original favourite, the Bewley’s Mary Cake.
