It is a nice place, staff are very well trained and they are on hand always to look after you. I was with my gf and we both had the tasting menu with the wine tasting also with each course. the wine tasting was very good and I enjoyed it very much, the food was 9 courses all very small... More

Really disappointed in the quality of this restaurant, because two of my quest got sick after having dinner here. Not the quality one would expect from such restaurant.

Pre-Christmas lunch with friends was a lovely treat. Service excellent. lovely ambience. Food not too expensive but wine and drinks certainly push the boat out. Food very good but with only three choices per course you couldn't really have a repeat visit too soon! Other than that everything was very enjoyable.

Dined here last week and it was a really lovely experience from start to finish. We were warmly welcomed and shown to our table, which was up on the mezzanine giving us a great view of entire restaurant. The four course lunch was superb. Not a huge choice, but was was on offer looked and tasted delicious and was beautifully... More

My 35th birthday was the occasion that led me to this wonderful restaurant. The gourmand menu allows for multiple courses with a glass of wine paired with each course by the expert sommelier. I have to say that the wine pairings were the element I appreciated most, most of the French and Austrian glasses unknown to me, while the Italian... More

We ate there few on November 30, 2016. We tried the full tasting menu. Almost all dishes were poor in quality, quantity and presentation. Very vulgar food and tasteless. Does not worth a visit and definitely not the the 90€ ( wine and drinks not included) . The service was great, really nice young people doing big effort to serve... More

Arrived early but enjoyed a drink at the bar first. Relaxed atmosphere and good selection of aperitifs. We were led upstairs to be seated. The room was not fussy, tables didn't seem too squashed in. Food was lovely. We decided against the taster menu but instead enjoyed starters of Foie Gras, and of scallops. Then both had Sika Deer for... More

I have to say this is my first ever trip advisor review and normally I would just never go back to a place rather than take the time out of my life to do this. But in this case I have made exception to try and warn other people about L'Ecrivain. Before I start I would like to give you... More

First of all, the food was excellent. Flavours and textures were on point and the dessert with chocolate and tonka beans made me feel like I was in heaven. Virginia is an excellent and friendly server who understands the importance of a smile. She happily explained the dishes to me in Spanish and English, as I mentioned I am trying... More

Beautiful cuisine, great service and very pleasant ambience. One of the best restaurants in Dublin. The change to this location was a good move from the original. Definitely a return visit, have been several times now.
