What a contrast between a beautiful and attentive service, perfectly organized and efficient...and a terrible cook! Lots of expectations are set by the service but when it comes to the food, the world turns into a gross fish and chips bistro. Overcooked potatoes, overcooked fish...More

We live nearby and would eat here now and again . We love this gem. Great food served by great characters in a charming old fashioned way . Love the local view from the windows .

A lovely little restaurant with delicious food. They also do amazing fillet steaks as well as fish and shellfish. Highly recommend seafood chowder and surf and turf.

We were wildly early, early birds but they let us in without our even noticing the time. Two courses for €23.95 and as I've had everything from Rolys restaurant next door menu via the cafe we opted for variety on this occasion. Neither Kites nor...More

Interesting to travel in time and arrive in 1979. Everything was stuck in time - even the service with all these trollies. The lobster was fresh but lacked in taste. The vegetables were awfully old-fashioned and overcooked. This place is for really old and sentimental...More

A top end fine dining seafood restaurant in Ballsbridge with impeccable service. Ideal for special occasions or expenses accounts. There is one flight of stairs up to the small bijou restuarant with less than twenty tables. A unique experience in how service used to be.

Tommy is a master in the way he runs his fine establishment with his effortless wit and charm, he could i'm sure sell ice to the Eskimos. The only slight quibble on this occasion was the Duckling flamed in Grand Marnier,a perennial favourite not forgetting...More

My wife and I stayed at Clayton Hotel Ballsbridge, Dublin. The Lobster Pot restaurant was near to the hotel. The food was excellent, elegant atmosphere, and impecable service. Best lobster I have had in the past 20 years. Highly recommended.

It was my fathers 84th birthday on the 6th of July so my husband and I brought him and my mother to one of their all time fave restaurants. We got a window table and as always were overwhelmed with the superb welcome, attention and...More
