We have visited O'Connells for lunch with teenage kids. Pros: + nice interior Cons: - so extremely slow - there were no more than 3 tables occupied at all time, but we still needed one hour from entering the place until being served with lunch...More

Lunch was very good. Had a Chicken sandwich-sounds boring but not; there was a not to sweet berry spread layer sand it was a little creamy layer on nice bread. What really gave this 5 stars is Mr O'Connell himself. He took the time to...More

I hadn't been for lunch to O'Connell's for a while so I was pleased to see that standards have been maintained. The lunch menu is short with simply dishes, well cooked and nicely presented. I particularly enjoyed the black pudding to start, followed by fish...More

This is a classy restaurant, with a classy owner that serves great food. It is not cheap by any means but good food is worth it. So why would such a place sully its name for a few quick euros? When we paid by credit...More

Thank you Travelbeat for your review of O'Connells. We are deeply upset by the suggestion that we are less than honest, fair and trustworthy. You preface your review with favourable comments on the food and the owner, however the 'Why rip off Americans' is quite...More
