Visited with high expectations and I initially thought that these were misplaced. We had the chicken lollipos and Ribs to start and both were decidedly average. At this point, i thought I was going to be disappointed. However. Things got better. The Tom Yum Soup was spicy and excellent, and out main courses (Red Curry & Beef stir fry with... More

What a find! It's on an upper floor and the interior decor is a little odd (thick carpets and dark wood) but the food is incredible. Some of the most delicious and authentic Thai food I have had in Europe. The spicy salads were fresh (and spicy!) and the fish main course (seabass) was a delight. If you are working... More

Just what you need after a chilly evening watching rugby, hot spicy Thai served quickly and with good humour. Excellent tasty cuisine, the sea bass is outstanding.

The place is surprising indeed: long narrow stairs leading to an exotic and cosy restaurant. The waiter was friendly and helpful , the food very tasty and the wine by carafe quite good. Plus it was reasonably priced. To be recommended!

Visited here this evening after reading other reviews. Their great reviews are well deserved! We went for "chim" option which is sharing plates of 3 starters and 2mains. We chose option 4 which was 2 different soups and chicken satay and mains of beef lemongrass and prawn with herbs and spices. Absolutely gorgeous, good quick and friendly service. With a... More

Stopped for dinner - we were in around 6pm by 645pm on a Wednesday night it's packed - that's says it all. Beautiful food and presentation - it was really really tasty. I had chicken cashew onion and garlic with the chilli - beautiful sauce but beware eating the sundried chilli they are hot hot hot for the unaccustomed tongue... More

We are fortunate enough to live in Toronto which has some of the most ethnic diversity of any major city in the world. We can get excellent, authentic cuisine from pretty much any region of the globe. So we can be picky when it comes to trying ethnic restaurants in other locals. This Thai restaurant is nothing shy of excellent.... More

We went to Baan Thai for early bird on Sunday night. The food was amazing as ever with a great choice. It was the most reasonable priced meal of the weekend with very high standards of food. Love it. We will be back!!!

Spent 4 days in Dublin recently in a hotel adjacent to this restaurant. Myself & my colleagues ate there twice over the 4 days. Nice service, good menu, fresh food - it was delicious and I'd have no hesitation reccomending this restaurant to anyone stayin in or visiting Ballsbridge

Missed out going here last time we were in Dublin as they were fully booked. Took no chances this time and booked ahead. Place was packed, always a good sign. Had mixed platter to share for starters, taste was amazing and a lovely selection of 5 sauces and dips to accompany, red curry and a chilli and ginger stir fry... More
