This is really a Meadows and Byrne with an Insomnia in it, rather than the other way round. The cafe is small but service is good and if it's a nice day there is plenty of room to sit outside close to the sea in lovely Dun Laoghaire. Meadows and Byrne a lovely shop to browse in after a cuppa

Usually seating available, a bit tired but the coffee is consistent. Staff are friendly and the food is usually good if you're looking for more than a coffee

When in Dun Laoghaire, I like to have a look around Meadows and Burn at the Pavillion, and the Insomnia Cafe is a good place to have a coffee or tea and take a break. Fast, friendly service.

Appropriately named, Insomnia is the place to have a cup of good coffee throughout the Dublin area. Good baristas with a full range of options for coffee and tea. Pretty good snack menu as well. Choose one of the tables outside to take in the fresh ocean breeze and the beautiful harbor views.

Great little place to use for a quick chat and a cuppa when doing some shopping in the adjacent shops. As it is located in Meadows & Byrne, two birds can be killed with the same stone. (No animals were hurt during the visit!)

Insomnia is brilliant. For caffeine-addicts like me, suffering from the urge to feel the kick of the black gold, insomnia makes it affordable. Their deal with any hot beverage any size and a rocky road is absolutely stupendous. I love it. However, the staff can be condescending, and can be easily frustrated. But, I would recommend this place! -Johnny

Very reasonably priced coffe chain outlet. Highly recommended. Don't miss this or any of the other outlets around the country for the best coffee in the country!

Dun Laoghaire is full of coffee shops..at this current time 24..the position of this one allows you to get a quick coffee before you have a fortifying walk along the pier.
