We regularly go to the Market Bar in the early evening as it can get busy later at night. It is open and spacious. The atmosphere is casual and the reasonable prices reflect that. The food is always good and the Tapas portions are substantial. We always enjoy excellent service, particularly from Rob, who treats us like old friends, rather... More

When I visited mid afternoon, the bar wasn't at all busy. However, the large open area was very pleasant, with a good selection of craft beers and reasonably priced tapas style food. A very relaxing, airy venue

Nice spot for tapas and drinks and it's good value. I've been here with a group of 25 and they were well able to accommodate us. Recommend the nachos! 👌

I kid you not. In fairness the duty manager, i'm assuming thats what he was, was very very embarrassed. And yes i did give them a bad review several months ago based on a staff member arguing with me when i questioned a measure i received. They, in the end, went down the -look, do you want the pint or... More

Hi Maurice, Thank you for taking the time to review our business. Just to clarify that you were not asked to leave due to a bad review you have previously left but more for the fact that you previously vandalised one of our tables with a black marker. We have no issue with constructive criticism and have never, nor would... More

Warehouse feel to the place, really busy, super efficient staff. Large selection on the menu. Food was average. Would recommend the meat balls.

Restaurant specialized in Tapas. The food was tasty, they have great wines and beers. The staff really nice but the place is noisy. The music was too loud and there were a lot of people so it was difficult to speak with my friends. It is not a cheap place but not as expensive as I read in some reveiews.

Shared some tapas with friends in the Market Bar- some were delicious, especially the prawns, olives and salads. Very boring bread. The frittata was lukewarm and rubbery. Salads very good indeed. Good coffee. The service was very slow- suits a relaxed meal but a bit annoying if you are in a hurry.

Loved everything about this place, I got the meatballs and potatoes on both occasions and really loved them, the second time I was there I got the large size which was way to big for me so I go a doggie bag.

A lovely restaurant and bar to relax and take in the history of what may have taken place in the building. We were upstairs in the bar and the service was good with a good selection of craft beers and cocktails on offer. Nice relaxing bar.
