Had a short wait before our delicious food arrived (beef and bacon burger, and fish and chips). When I'm in one of these Galway Bay bars I usually pick a beer at random because their selection is solid, this time I chose Croozer and it...More

Something for everyone on the menu, and a great selection of locally brewed beers and ales. We were here early one afternoon after a long stroll on the Salthill Promenade. We brought hearty appetites and were not disappointed - the food was plentiful and very...More

We visited here on a rainy night our last night in Ireland and it was the perfect way to round off our trip! Staff are lovely and seem to enjoy working there, and are very knowledgeable about the beers, food was insanely good, massive portions....More

I feel a bit torn about this restaurant, because there was a lot I liked about it, and I think my 23 year old self would actually love the place. A microbrewery, clearly beer is their thing, and as such they have a great selection....More

We ate there for lunch today. Food is pricey but nice. Our waitress was not interested in doing her job but I noticed other waiter/waitresses doing a good job and offering dips etc to other patrons having the same dish as us. We were a...More

Oslo has something for everybody. We were there on a Saturday afternoon- there were yuppies catching up, millennials, families with kids and families with older parents. Its right next to the Salthill Promenade, so dining outdoor on a summer day, you can see the ocean...More

I've had my Sunday lunch in this place many times before but today it was my worst experience so far. We ordered food for two adults and two children, after a long wait the food for one adult and two children arrived. I thought my...More

Description
The Oslo Bar in Salthill boasts the first and only Microbrewery in Galway which offers a great range of international beers, fresh food and a variety of novel evenings. With an ever changing menu the Oslo keeps people coming back to enjoy the many creative dishes inspiried by "in-season and fresh" ingredents. There is a wide range of international beers but while there you should try our own Bay Ale and Stormy Porter - brewed right on the premises. The front portion contains a comfortable range of eclectic furniture and the back part, set up with German beer garden style sturdy tables. The name Oslo itself comes from the Oslo Hotel which once encompassed the whole premises.Focused on food with a daily menu served from 12 until 10 daily. Select from a good range of interesting dishes. Enjoy the Weekend with brunch including Eggs Benedict and French toast which has fast become something of a Galway institution. An open fire and large comfortable smoking area tick a few more boxes making the Oslo a really great destination.
