Went here today. Had to send my raw chicken wings back. Waitress didn't seem to care. Brought plate back to the kitchen and returned within minutes with the only difference on the plate being the single chicken wing that was raw removed. Not even a fresh new plate. Then opened other wings with a fork and knife and half of... More

Literally just out the door. Was so excited to try it out as it looked like a nice, cosy Irish restaurant. My friend ordered chicken wings..after biting into it, she realised it was raw. Raw chicken in a restaurant! I quietly beckoned the waitress over as my friend was too embarrassed to complain (Typical Irish!) I showed her the raw... More

Ate here last night as we just wanted to get in from the cold. We ordered lasagne and the daily special which was turkey and ham with stuffing. The girl who served us was very friendly. I was suspicious when our food arrived very quickly, literally 2 mins after we ordered. Poor quality, cheap ingredients and the "stuffing" was just... More

Great pub with a bit of history about it. The food is old style pub grub and nothing fancy but well cooked, filling and great value for money. Nice pint of Guinness and a free apple on the way out! Staff are very friendly and helpful. Would go back if in the area again.

Before I start I must admit its with a heavy heart that I write this as usually if I don't enjoy then I don't comment but the standards here were really sub par . We ate here on a short visit to Galway but sadly we were left very disappointed by the whole experience , first off the decor was... More

After visiting a relative a relation in hospital. we decided to have a quick snack before heading back to the east. We both had Home made Lasagne side salad and chips. What a feast and only €6.90 per person no wonder the place was busy. has to be the best value meal in Ireland.

Our group of three stopped in for lunch today. We were immediately seated upstairs. Portions were large and the food was good. Good service. Nice experience in a building that dates from the 15th century.

4 of us dined here and it was the worst meal all of us had ever had. All the food was microwaved the lasagne was shocking and the garlic bread with cheese was soggy the jacket potatoes were hard also microwaved. We made a complaint to the waitress who apologised and said the lasagne was their best seller . We... More
