Absolutely bowled over by Wa cafe in Galway. Myself and my wife were really amazed by the sashimi, which included all locally caught fish, the highlights being an incredibly sweet scallop and the freshest mackerel imaginable. Really interesting to see mackerel on a sashimi plate! The rolls were equally delicious, my favourite being the mackerel roll and atlantic spicy tuna.... More

The nigiri we had as a starter was sublime. The ramen was great and the teriyaki beef was the best we have ever tasted. We will be back.

arrogant server, cold noodles, poor sushi, lack of toilet paper in the WC and general disappointment after good previous experiences (different staff). We will not go back to this place.

Small restaurant with a good selection of Japanese food. Setting is perfect for couples or small groups. The waitress was very friendly and welcoming. Will definately go again.

Stumbled across this little gem last year and since then I've been addicted. The food is beautifully served and tastes so light and fresh. I always leave completely satisfied and looking forward to my next visit. Have been ordering the nigiri set and sashimi plate between two which is more than enough and also great value. Staff are super friendly... More

I didn't know this little place until a friend of mine invited me for a lunch. The place is little small, I think is better that you can take your food to take away. For sure I am going to be back soon.

We ate here for lunch on a Tuesday. It wasn't crowded during the lunch hour (though maybe they do a lot of to-go orders). We had the toro special with 2 types of toro nigiri and 2 types of tuna roll. We also had the Clare Island Salmon roll. Every piece we ate was amazing and tasted so fresh! You... More

Absolutely delicious sushi, the fish is so fresh! I love the sushi so much that I haven't tried the rest of the menu but it looks really good! The staff are always friendly. The only issue I have is that it's a bit expensive - €11 for the sushi box is just a little bit steep for a lunch. Hmm,... More
