We go here with our family any time we are in Galway. The staff are extremely good at their jobs, and very friendly and welcoming. Kids are very welcome here and they love the food. The food is excellent, huge portions(happy hubby), great prices and great choice. I can't recommend this place highly enough! I have to say though, it... More

Popped in for a drink one Monday evening with my partner, it was fine and sunny. Only wanted one drink but the Guinness was that good we stayed for a few. Will go back for that lovely Guinness.

I visited in January this year - my husband plays backgammon there each week. Bar service was excellent. I even got my slice of orange with my vodka and coke, Strange how that is not always available, even in upmarket places. Lounge was roomy, with several private 'snug' areas. Car park was roomy and there are about a dozen tables... More

I called in around 10am one Friday morning. About 15 other customers around and 3 floor staff. very welcoming and pleasant. Offered tea and coffee straight away. Disappointed with the full breakfast as everything was obviously pre cooked and left in a baine marie for a good while as even the eggs were dry. Sad as it was my first... More

Full irish breakfast is really top quality here, we go here when we're going into galway for the day, sets us up for the day, no need for lunch 😊 The brown bread is so amazing that we've started to a buy a loaf each week. It's €3.50 but worth every cent. Don't know what they use to make it... More

This is one place you do not want to miss in Galway. A restaurant in a pub, traditional pub fare..Children usually hungry and any of our family in hospital we usually do this one on the way home. At lunchtime carvery in big bambourine at one end of pub and the queue for self service is long...Great value for money.... More
