A popular, busy place. Make a reservation if you get the chance. We stopped for dinner in Killarney more or less spontaneously so we had to wait at least 45 minutes to get a table (for 6) but it was so worth it. Their signature...More

Greeted at the door and requested a table for six. Table ready by the time we ordered drinks at the bar. Courteous wait staff members, hot food, and well prepared.

Staff is superb from the minute you are greeted at the entrance through the meal service. Their signature boxty meal is well worth the visit.

We have been to Killarney several times and have eaten at Bricin each time. The menu has many delicious items, but the most unique dish is the boxty - a potatoe pancake filled with a chicken, lamb, beef or vegetarian mixture. There are many other...More

Such a great experience! We were a little early and got a recommendation for JCs across the street for a drink. That was a ton of fun and then the meal and service were wonderful back at the restaurant. I had the boxty special and...More

The restaurant is above a gift shop and can be easily missed. It is old fashioned with many pictures on the walls and in going for the early bird menu it was packed. A reservation at that time of day is almost essential and the...More

Sorry just seeing this now. Hope you haven't been. I would pull up their website and check the menu. I can't recall if there was a vegan boxty or not, sorry.

Set above Bricín Shop, Bricín Restaurant and Boxty House is a well known name on the lips of many people. Opened in November 1991, its popularity is down to the fine food produced by Owner/Chef Paddy McGuire and by the warmth of welcome and hospitality shown front of house by Owner Johnny McGuire. Between them they have an exceptional product that has been 21 years plus in the making.
