What an awesome find! Murphy's offers a selection of absolutely delicious ice creams; I had butterscotch which was amazing and my boyfriend had chocolate, which was equally as yummy. Staff are so friendly and clearly love what they do. Samples available and staff love you to try all different ones before you buy, they are very proud of their ice... More

I was told to make sure I stop at Murphy's and I'm glad I did. What a great dessert after a fine meal across the way. Don't miss it.

Was told to try this ice-cream by a local chef. Dropped in on a freezing night, but I'm so glad I did! The lady that served me was incredibly friendly and helpful. Allowed me to try some of the flavours before I was to make my final (and very tough) decision on which flavours and toppings to have. This ice-cream... More

Lovely staff and amazing, original ice-cream. The chocolate ice cream should be automatically added to any human's bucket list.

It is excellent ice cream shops in both Killarney and Dingle, we did go twice because we were on holiday. I loved the sea salt caramel, and also really loved the special sticky toffee pudding . IT was pretty pricey, but they are also using cream from an Irish heritage cow, so to me, that's enough to support, especially when... More

We read about this place a lot before ever coming to Ireland and made sure it would be a stop while we're here. We are SO glad we did! They have some pretty unique flavors, the most popular being the sea salt flavor (sounds weird, tastes awesome). My personal favorite is the brown bread flavor, literally brown bread mixed with... The shop smells amazing. The ice cream tasted ok-ish. Its not bad; please don't take me wrong. Its the smell of the shop that brought the expectance level very high.

The ice cream is good but it's also good in macs at a much lower cost. I find it seriously overpriced. It seems to be aimed at shaking out tourists pockets. I can't imagine it costs that much to produce ice cream. I mean come on we're surrounded by dairy farmers....

We thoroughly enjoyed the ice cream here - probably one of the best we've ever tasted. The sea salt ice cream was my favourite. The staff were great and allowed you to have a taste of as many flavours as you liked before buying. Ice cream is made from milk from cows in the local region. Highly recommended! Must visit... Yes it is a good quality ice cream like SO many others. BUT I don't think is anything special. Would not recommend having ice cream there as it also costs 5€ for a (small) scoop with topping. Maybe try another place for dessert. As a matter of fact, Ireland is not famous for its ice cream..

Murphys makes all of its own ice cream from scratch in Co. Kerry, using milk from the rare Kerry Cow breed and hand-made craft. Murphys makes its own sea salt for their sea salt ice cream and even make their own chocolate chips. They also serve coffees and a delicious range of hot chocolates.
