Food and drinks were good, just Irish stew was not really Irish;) was looking like meat and carrots were cooked together while potatoes were boiled separately and added into the dish before serving..

This is an historical building in the heart of Kilkenny. The lively bar/restaurant is worth a visit for drink or food. During the height of the season it can be a bit impersonal but the decor is unique. Watch out for Dame Alice, Kilkenny's witch.

The menu is really interesting to read about the story that took place. Food is decent and so does the prices.

We went for a family meal here at Christmas. The place was very busy but the service was still quick and efficient and the early bird menu is great value. Really enjoyed the Christmas atmosphere too.

This was the best food of our 2 week trip in Ireland. The entertainment felt authentic, then pub felt authentic. It was just far removed from some of the other more tourist geared places we had been. I would recommend to anyone who asks.

This restaurant was recommended to us by a local citizen. It was nicely decorated for Christmas and we had the special of the day, roast lamb. It was delicious! The coffee was wonderful, too. They served it with yummy shortbread cookies. For a nice sit...More

I agree. We went on a Saturday night in March and had no problem. However, during the summer months it may be very crowded.

Medieaval building in the heart of Kilkenny dating back to 1324. Once home to Dame Alice Kyteler tried for witchcraft. Kytelers Inn is NOT a restaurant but a Pub - which is our main business. Yes we also serve bar food. There are three floors with four bars - cheek them all out for the one that suits. On offer at peak season twice nightly from 6.30pm. is a programme of trad music, balladeer, irish dancers & seanachie. You can watch & eat & drink at your leisure.Weekends and Bank holidays we also have Late Bar extensions with bands & DJ for those that want to party a bit later into the night. As it was in Alice Kyteler's day - Kyteler's Inn is a place for "merrie making" - Come and visit us to find out more..Also check us out - Trip Advisor Bars/Nightlife
