Food and drinks were good, just Irish stew was not really Irish;) was looking like meat and carrots were cooked together while potatoes were boiled separately and added into the dish before serving..

This is an historical building in the heart of Kilkenny. The lively bar/restaurant is worth a visit for drink or food. During the height of the season it can be a bit impersonal but the decor is unique. Watch out for Dame Alice, Kilkenny's witch.

This was the best food of our 2 week trip in Ireland. The entertainment felt authentic, then pub felt authentic. It was just far removed from some of the other more tourist geared places we had been. I would recommend to anyone who asks.
