My husband and I had a meal in the Marble City Tearooms this week - I had the stuffed peppers with goats cheese - delicious and very filling. My husband had the burger from the specials menu and said it also was delicious and the chips were excellent. Would go there again if in Kilkenny and would recommend it. Found... More

I have been reading two reviews complaining about the staff of the Marble City Bar and I must disagree with the people who wrote them.As I have been drinking Coffee in the Marble since Ray has been manager there I think I can honestly say the staff are second to none.It is mostly Sunday mornings after Mass I sit myself... I visited Marble City Tearooms on Sunday with a friend, I got the stuffed peppers with goats cheese and my friend had the BBQ salmon. The portions are generous and the food is delicious. I would highly recommend others to eat here. 😊

We took a coffee and tea with scones here a afternoon. Small seating area outside for a sunny day. Nice staff and good service.

Visited Kilkenny for a day last weekend with my wife and 2 adult daughters. We decided to look for a place to have breakfast and, having strolled around Kilkenny came across The Marble City Bar and decided to eat there. Big mistake! It was dark, and staffed by the rudest and unfriendliest staff I have ever come across and I... More

Visited The Marble City Bar three mornings in a row during the wonderful Kilkenny Roots Festival 2017. Service is superb, the food jolly good and the atmosphere lovely. The upstairs bar is beautiful, so elegant.

One gentleman is particular was down right rude, to the point that we felt had personally offending him in someway. From slamming down our pots of tea to turning his face in... More
