Wandered in here by chance on the search for good bar food and found exactly that. This is a nice comfortable pub with a good range of traditional and craft beers. Ordered steak and fish and chips. Both were good, big portions and value for...More

First off, we were very hungry from traveling all day. We wondered into this place because it looked nice. Our server was very pleasant and conversational which put us at ease. We ended up getting the traditional Fish and Chips. It was good but every...More

We went there twice! Had dinner there one night, then some of our party went back for the traditional music another night. Well worth it.

The street setting is small but nice for a relaxing beer as the crowds roll by. The food however is poor, no flavor, probably microwaved. Avoid for dining.

After waking around town for most of the day, we were hungry, came upon this place, checked out the menu and gave them a whirl. The Irish stew was excellent, as were the beer.

Nice warm welcome on a rather drizzly lunchtime! We just came in for a beer (great range on tap including the Smithwicks 'trinity'!) but quite a few family groups came in for food and it looked very good - traditional sausage and mash, irish stew,...More

We had bangers and mash and beef and Guinness stew and both were AMAZING. We actually reworked our trip itinerary so we could go back a second time.
