Such a great spot for a few drinks, bar tender even gave us free champagne for a friends birthday. Two excellent guitarists played and really gave the place a great atmosphere. Would recommend - super friendly staff, decent prices and excellent entertainment

It was raining, cold and I needed something to warm me up. It was the first time I had Irish Stew and it was wonderful!!!! The atmosphere was very homey and dessert was toblerone cheesecake! Music was at the front of the bar area.

Cosy little pub, great atmosphere, staff and food. Really enjoyed an authentic stew and cider. Prices pretty reasonable and away from the main touristy joints.

Fine for a drink. The food service though isn't great and when the food did arrive it was pretty bad. Actually, very bad. It didn't help that on finishing the poor meal I visited the toilet to be greeted by a large piece of human stool on the floor. Yeah... not pleasant. Go elsewhere.

The food was quite good, nothing special but ok. My steak was cooked exactly as requested and my wife's chicken curry was tasty enough. The staff were very friendly but the system for taking orders and paying the bill is a bit of a shambles.

Stopped here for a quick beer and a sit down after a long day driving and walking around achill, wasn't very busy when we arrived so getting a table wasn't an issue. Tried a local craft beer and decided to have some finger food. Staff and food were great. Barman was the usual friendly talkative type who will entertain you... More
